The Global ECR Network (GEN) is officially launching! Join us for our first-ever online event where we introduce GEN’s mission, vision, and activities. This session will bring together early career researchers (ECRs) from across the UK and beyond to discover how GEN can support their journey after the PhD.
🎯 Why This Matters
Early-career researchers are the future of academia and innovation, yet they often face isolation, limited networks, and barriers to funding. GEN exists to change that. This launch event will:
- Outline GEN’s support programmes (mentoring, training, networking, funding).
- Share upcoming opportunities for involvement.
- Create space for ECRs to connect globally.
